It looks like Ghita, the burgeoning fashion line, headed by Alexis Phifer (Kanye's Boo) is developing some celebrity fans. Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls can currently be seen rocking an asymmetrical metallic dress from the label in Timbaland's video for "Scream".

The form-fitting dress comes from Ghita's Fall 07 line which can be found in boutiques around the country including Ron Herman and Henri Bendels. It's obvious that Alexis designs for a very specific customer: one who's fearless and progressive. Unusual draping and bold prints accented with vibrant color define her collection which is filled with pieces that you won't be found in any department store. Like many of her contemporaries, Alexis integrated the 80s aesthetic that's regained popularity the last few seasons. She even had her models walk the runway sporting crimped hair and hefty plastic bangles.
Ghita Spring/Summer '08

Huge shoutout to Naki of StyleChile who was actually able to attend the show for the fantabulous slide show.
In case you think Alexis is only designing clothes because she's hooked up with the "Louis Vuitton Don", she's actually quite legit. Chick graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in LA. In fact Kanye credits her with upgrading his style a la Beyonce. The stylish duo were also featured in the most fabulous of editorial spreads in Harper's Bazaar over the summer.
