Sanaa Lathan is the epitome of a confident, mature Black woman in Hollywood and her style usually reflects that. This look, however, isn't doing a lot for Ms. Lathan.

This tank dress in red silk with black accents reminds me of Christmas. The cut looks great on her figure, but the caged sandals and clutch just aren't working.

Gabrielle Union soaked up the last few days of Summer in this Spring-inspired outfit. Her printed romper and light neutral blazer were an great combination.

Gabby's grey platform sandals were a perfect accessory to the look that perfect for this intermediate point between the seasons.

Teairra Mari showed off her incredible figure in a neutral-toned abstract-print dress at the premiere of her new movie "Lottery Ticket." The corseted bodice with black piping accentuates her hour glass figure, but that's the end of the dresses highlights.

The dull print doesn't make a mark. It reminds me of a lifeless version of the Gucci dress Nia Long wore to the BET Awards.

Teairra's had some great looks before, so let's consider this a fluke.

Keke Palmer is easily my favorite under 18 fashionista. Her style is unexpectedly chic and sophisticated, but she never looks too old.

She wore an embellished Colette Dinnigan silver gown with Jimmy Choo heels to the Teen Choice Awards. This is a gorgeous look.

I am a huge fan of Kelly Rowland's style. I love that she takes risks, but always makes sure to put herself together. But sometimes being a risk taker just doesn't pay off.

Leona Lewis was spotted at the premiere of Salt in London wearing a teal satin dress by William Tempest.  The sculptured mini dress looks great on Leona's frame.

Super structured dresses don't work for everyone, but Leona definitely made it work.  Leona kept it simple with a small gold necklace and classic black patent pumps.

Tamkea "Tiny" Cottle's style is definitely hit or miss in my book. She chooses looks that are trendy and young, but she doesn't always pull them off. (See: her wedding reception dress.)

Tiny wore this Alice + Olivia bustier cotton dress to the New York premiere "Takers" starring her husband TI. The dress combines a couple of this season's hottest trends including sequins and army green. The new Mrs. Harris topped off the look with Louboutin pumps and diamond jewelry.

Beyonce and America Ferrera are both known for their voluptuous frames. Both women opted for the same seafoam green Catherine Malandrino cocktail dress.

The dress is super feminine with ruffles on the skirt and sleeves. Beyonce rocked the look with nude Sergio Rossi pumps while America wore red patent peep toe pumps with the dress. America opted for simple stud earring and Bey rocked big hoops and and a big crystal ring.

See! Rihanna's just like us. She rewears clothes too.

The Barbadian songstress first wore these polka dot peep toe pumps during a shopping trip in California a couple of weeks ago. RiRi mixed her prints like pro, pairing the the shoes with a striped romper.

Last night, she wore the pumps with cutoff shorts (more like denim underwear), a see-through striped top, and a beige/pink blazer.

Animal prints are hot right now, but we don't usually see them like this. Letoya Luckett wore a fun, animal print dress to a recent event. The dress is currently on sale for less than $50. Get it while you can!

The Grecian draped dress is one of the season's must haves. LaLa's been spotted before wearing the same Alice + Olivia dress also seen on Beyonce. But I can't be mad at her for finding a style that works. She looks incredible.

Despite whatever personal turmoil Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon is going through, she always looks radiant on the red carpet. She wore the Grecian-inspired dress trend flawlessly. (Selita Ebanks wore a similar style recently.) Garcelle arguably wears white better than the patron saint of angelic hues herself.

She topped off the look with thousands in Neil Lane jewels, and silver peep-toe Louboutins.
